St Peter School Spirituality

At St. Peter School our faculty and staff serve as role models demonstrating the Christian way of life we desire for our children. Through religious education, we teach the beliefs of the Catholic Church and inspire our students to live moral and ethical lives by reinforcing these attributes on a daily basis.

The Eucharistic liturgy is the center of our faith and the source of strength in our daily lives. It is integral in the development of our students, who participate in liturgies on a weekly basis. Students at St. Peter School also take part in Para liturgies and common prayer experiences on a regular basis, appropriate to the seasons of the Church. Our students’ spiritual growth is intensified through:

  • Participation in Daily Prayer
  • Daily Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America
  • Weekly Mass
  • Discussion of Scriptures
  • All-school prayer services
  • Sacrament of First Reconciliation
  • Sacrament of First Communion
  • Liturgical Ministry i.e. Lectors, Altar Servers
  • Choir for ages 6 through High School
  • Community Service Projects
  • May Crowning
  • Christmas Program
  • Mentoring Programs
